Abstract:
To reduce a phenomenon, such as thermal stress action even when increasing frequency of a refrigerant amount detection operation.SOLUTION: A heat source unit (2) is connected to a utilization unit (5) to constitute a refrigerant circuit (10) performing a refrigeration cycle. The heat source unit (2) includes a compressor (21), a first heat exchanger (24), a receiver (26), a first flow passage (P1) and a first valve (V1). The compressor (21) compresses a refrigerant. The first heat exchanger (24) is used as a condenser for the refrigerant. The receiver (26) stores the refrigerant discharged from the first heat exchanger (24) during a normal operation in which the first heat exchanger (24) is used as the condenser. The first flow passage (P1) bypasses the first heat exchanger (24) and connects the discharge side of the compressor (21) and the receiver (26). The first valve (V1) opens/closes the first flow passage (P1). During a refrigerant amount detection operation for detecting a refrigerant amount in the refrigerant circuit, the first valve (V1) is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
