Abstract:

To enhance responsibility when controlling refrigerant state quantity in a high pressure side in a heat source unit while playing a role as a buffer for a receiver to temporarily store liquid refrigerant.

The receiver 34 has a container 50, a main passage 51 for introducing the liquid refrigerant condensed in a refrigerant flow path of a heat source side heat exchanger 33 in the container 50, a branching passage 52 branching from the main passage 51, and a leading out passage 53 leading out the liquid refrigerant in the container 50 from the container 50. The main passage 51 has the first opening 51a opening in the container 50 and the branching passage 52 has the second opening 52a opening at a position lower than the first opening 51a in the container 50. A switching mechanism SV1 can switch the first mode allowing the liquid refrigerant to flow in the first opening 51a and the second mode not allowing the liquid refrigerant to flow in the first opening 51a. A control section 4 controls the switching mechanism SV1 and adjusts the refrigerant state quantity in the high pressure side.
