In this heat source unit 102, a compressor 21, an expansion valve 23, and an air heat exchanger 24 are stored inside a casing 110 being a longitudinally long substantially equilateral square column so as to be stacked in the vertical direction. The casing 110 has a first side surface 113 forming a blowout port 113a for exhaust, a second side surface 114 opposed at a predetermined interval to the first side surface 113, and a front face 111 adjacent to the first side surface 113 and forming a suction port 111a for suction. The blowout port 113a, a propeller fan 29, the air heat exchanger 24 and the second side surface 114 are juxtaposed in this order inside the casing 110. An outside air intake space 110a for introducing air sucked in from the suction port 111a to the air heat exchanger 24, is arranged between the air heat exchanger 24 and the second side surface 114.
