To provide a heat storage combustion apparatus capable of removing failures such as rise of the deodorizing cost due to closure of a heat storage structure by a duct and lowering of deodorizing efficiency without causing lowering of heat exchange efficiency and rise of pressure loss.
In a heat storage combustion apparatus 1 wherein it includes a heat storage structure 21 for exchanging heat with non-deodorizing gas and combustion means 6 for combusting gas heated by the heat storage structure 21, the heat storage structure 21 is divided to two or more blocks 21a, 21b, from an upstream side of the non-deodorizing gas in the advancing direction of the same to a downstream side, and there is provided a reverse washing valve 22 directed toward the second block 21b from a most upstream side in a gap 9 between the block 21a on the most upstream side in the advancing direction and the second block 21b from the most upstream side.
