Abstract:

To provide a heat storage device detecting positional relationship of a pushpin of an actuator and a nucleating trigger, and automatically adjusting the positional relationship of the pushpin of the actuator and the nucleating trigger, suitably for nucleating of a heat storing agent.

This heat storage device 1 comprises a container 3 and the heat storage agent 4 sealed in the container 3. The nucleating trigger 6 is disposed on an external wall of the container 3, and the actuator 5 for operating the nucleating trigger 6 is fixed to a cylinder block 2. The actuator 5 comprises a coil 7 and a rotor 8. The rotor 8 is engaged with a worm gear 9a formed on a surface of the pushpin 9. The rotating direction, rotational frequency and a rotating speed of the rotor 8 of the actuator 5 is controlled by ECU 11. The ECU 11 allows nucleating motion and pushpin 9 position correcting motion.
