Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accelerate freezing of heat storing materials utilizing volume expansion of a heat storage device by uniformizing freezing and melting of the heat storing materials thereby to improve efficiency of the heat storage device, with respect to a heat storage device for use in a refrigerator of the heat storing type utilizing heat storing materials.
CONSTITUTION: A heat storing device 15 has a flat front surface 23 and a surface opposite to the front surface 23 has a recesses and protrusions 24. And two devices 15 are brought into abutment with each other so that the recesses and protrusions 24 thereof are oppositely oriented and a cooling plate 17 is in contact with the flat surface 23, thereby forming a cooling unit 18, and a heat exchanger refrigerant tube 19 is widely located over the plate 17 so as to contact the plate 17 in a wide range. The cooling units 18 are stacked one on another so as to hold the tube 19 therebetween.
