Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a heat storage device in which heat dissipation from the heat storage device to the outside environment can be suppressed and in which the heat storage efficiency can be further improved. In order to solve the above problem, provided is a heat storage device provided with: a heat storage material container in which a heat storage material is accommodated; a supply part for supplying a thermal fluid to the heat storage material container; a discharge part for discharging the thermal fluid from the heat storage material container; and a heat retention part that is connected to the discharge part and that is for retaining the heat of the heat storage material container by using the discharged thermal fluid. According to the heat storage device, the heat retention part is provided outside the heat storage material container accommodating the heat storage material, and the thermal fluid having undergone heat exchange is introduced into the heat retention part, whereby the temperature of the heat retention part can be increased with use of the thermal energy of the thermal fluid having undergone heat exchange while no additional heat source is used. As a result, a high-temperature layer is provided between the heat storage material container and the outside environment such as the atmosphere so that heat loss from the heat storage material container can be significantly suppressed.
