Heat storage equipment includes a cooling/heating apparatus H for cooling and heating a fluid, and a heat storage unit Y. That contains a heat storage capsule 1 filled with a heat storage member 2 free to store heat and dissipate heat through heat exchange with a fluid independently of the cooling/heating apparatus H, a circulation driving apparatus J for circulating a fluid over the cooling/heating apparatus H, the heat storage unit Y, and an air conditioning space 3, and operation mode changeover means S for changing over a heat storage mode for storing heat in the heat storage member 2 and a heat dissipation mode for air conditioning the air conditioning space 3. In the heat storage equipment, the circulation driving apparatus J, cooling/ heating apparatus H, and the heat storage unit Y are arranged and coupling means R is provided, which is capable of coupling and separation in the direction where they are arranged.
