Abstract:

To optimize flame shape by making a flame direction changeable.

A burner nozzle 7 is arranged in a gas supply hole formed in a burner tile serving as a part of a furnace wall, and intake-exhaust holes 9, 10 comprising a ventilable heat storage material 13 are provided on both sides of the gas supply hole. Air nozzles 7a, 7b jetting high pressure air ahead of the intake-exhaust holes 9, 10 are further arranged on both sides of the burner nozzle 7 inside the gas supply hole. High pressure air jetted from the air nozzle 7a is led ahead of the intake-exhaust hole 10 with the burner nozzle 7 held between, and high pressure air jetted from the air nozzle 7b is led ahead of the intake-exhaust hole 9 with the burner nozzle 7 held between.
