To simultaneously ensure combustion performance and cost requirements.
There are provided a combustion chamber 1 for combusting odor components in gas G to be processed, and a heat storage structure 2 free to be driven and rotated. There are disposed a first supply hole portion 6 for supplying the gas G to the heat storage structure 2 and a first reception hole portion 8 for guiding the gas G passing through the heat storage 2 to the combustion chamber 1 such that gaps 13, 14 are formed between it and the heat storage structure 2 and that it is hermetically closed with a case 3 from the outside. There are further provided a second supply hole portion 10 for supplying waste gas g from the combustion chamber 1 to the heat strorage structure 2 and a second reception hole portion 12 for the waste gas g passing through the heat storage structure 2. Sealing cover plates 17a, 17b, 18a, 18b having the size to cover a vent passage 2a are provided inparallel at the first supply hole portion 6 and the first reception portion 12. Further, an end portion 8b of the first reception hole portion 8 is displaced downstream in a rotation direction from an end portion 6b of the first supply hole portion 6. Furthermore, there is provided pressure adjustment means for bringing the inside of the case 3 to higher pressure than the insides of the first supply hole portion 6 and the first reception hole section 8.
