Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the deposit and growth of dust adhered to a heat transfer surface by a method wherein a plurality of heat transfer elements, forming flow path of fluid, are displaced mutually and relatively by an external force, in the heat accumulating type heat exchanger.

CONSTITUTION: When fluid is injected while moving a soot blower 7 forwardly and rearwardly in radial direction during rotating a rotor 3, the fluid passes through flow paths between heat transfer plates 4, laminated in a fan type basket 5 through guide plates 6, and a pressure difference due to eddy currents is generated between one surfaces of respective heat transfer plates 4 and the rear side surfaces thereof thereby providing the heat transfer plates with radial alternating external force. The heat transfer plates 4 are arranged with some gaps between neighboring heat transfer plates, therefore, they are vibrated radially and the relative displacement is generated. Thus, the adhesion and growth of dust may remarkably be reduced regardless of the configuration of enlarged heat transfer area of heat transfer element whereby the operation of the heat exchanger may be continued for a long period of time.
