To improve a heat transfer characteristic by further improving a rate of absorption of absorbing liquid absorbing water vapor.
A heat transfer pipe has a corrugated surface forming a circumferential surface structure. The corrugated surface is comprised of first many corrugated surfaces having a first height difference in a first direction not in parallel with an axial direction L of the heat transfer pipe, and second many corrugated surfaces having a second height difference in a second direction crossing at a right angle with the first direction. The first corrugated surfaces and the second corrugated surfaces form first grooves 1 and second grooves 2 crossed at a right angle to each other. Freezing absorbing liquid flows down along the first grooves 1 and the second grooves 2 in convex or concave manner (corrugated manner) and crossing-manner to absorb surrounding atmosphere efficiently. Such a heat transfer pipe is applied in a plurality of heat exchangers in the absorbing type freezer, thereby an absorbing rate of the absorbing liquid to absorb water vapor is further improved and its heat transferring characteristic is improved in a synergistic manner.
