Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heat transfer sheet, in which a back layer having a excellent heat resistance is provided, without requiring a complicated heat treatment and the like.
CONSTITUTION: In the heat transfer sheet comprising a base material film 1, on one side of which a heat transfer ink layer melting or transferring thermally is provided, while on the other side with which a thermal head is brought into contact a back layer 3 is provided, the back layer is formed using a binder, which is mainly made of phenyl maleimide-styrene copolymer.
