PURPOSE: To permit the effective utilization of a low-temperature heat source as well as the heat transfer over a long distance and reduce restriction in installation by a method wherein a refrigerant transfer tube, constituting a closed loop in which vapor from an evaporator is supplied to a heat radiator provided at a position higher than the evaporator while condensate from the heat radiator is introduced into the evaporator by its own weight, is equipped in the titled heat transfer system.
CONSTITUTION: Refrigerant, suitable for a heat source 19 to be used, is determined and is poured into an evaporator 1 from a refrigerant supplying unit 4 through valves 3, 2 exclusive for the refrigerant until the pressure thereof arrives at a predetermined pressure. The evaporator 1 receives heat from the heat source 19 to vaporize the refrigerant into vapor. The vapor is supplied into a radiator 8 through a refrigerant transfer tube 7. In the radiator 8, the vapor radiates heat and is liquefied. Condensate generated in the radiator 8 is transferred by the refrigerant transfer tube 7 and returns to the evaporator 1 through a receiver tank 15, an auxiliary heat source 16 and a pressure gauge 18 exclusive for the refrigerant sequentially. Predetermined heat radiation is effected from the radiator 8 by repeating the same operations. According to this method, the low-temperature heat source may be utilized effectively, heat transfer over a long distance may be effected, thus reducing restrictions in the installation of the title system.
