An outer periphery of a heat transfer tube body 2 is covered with a dispersing layer 3 for dispersing a liquid refrigerant dropped from its upper part in its tube axial direction by a capillarity. Thus, since the medium dropped on the body effectively spreads in an entire body to increase a wet area of the body, a so-called dry-out is suppressed. As a result, a substantial heat transfer area is increased without increasing number of the tubes and a supply amount of the liquid refrigerant to remarkably improve its heat transfer performance.
