To produce a heat transfer tube of a waste heat boiler utilizing a garbage burning exhaust gas excellent in high temp. corrosion resistance, particularly, in high temp. intergranular corrosion resistance.
This heat transfer tube is composed of an Fe base alloy having a compsn. contg. 25 to 35% Ni, 25 to 35% Cr, 0.1 to 10% Mo, 0.001 to 0.05% C, 0.001 to 0.1% Mg and 0.001 to 0.1% B, furthermore contg. the following (a) and/or (b) according to necessary, moreover contg., at need, (c), and the balance Ni with impurities in which the content of Si is limited to ≤0.1%, P to ≤0.03% and S to ≤0.03%, where (a) denotes 0.1 to 5% W, (b) denotes one or ≥ two kinds among 0.001 to 0.1% rare earth elements, 0.001 to 0.1% Y, 0.001 to 0.1% Zr and 0.001 to 0.5% Hf and (c) denotes one or two kinds of 0.01 to 1.0% Mn and 0.001 to 0.1% Ca.
