Title:
HEAT-TRANSMITTING ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5941280
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To unnecessitate any individual driving circuits and contrive to reduce the number of component parts, by providing a heating element itself with a data-transferring capability and a storing capability, in a heat-sensitive line head.

CONSTITUTION: A common electrode 5 is provided on a substrate 1, a heating resistor layer 7 consisting of a temperature-sensitive semiconductor is provided thereon, terminals 3N-2W3N+3 are provided thereon, and each three of the terminals are connected to the same clock electrode 8-1W8-3. By impressing voltages between the common electrode 5 and each of the terminals 3i in a predetermined order, heat of the resistor layer 7 is transferred, whereby the data- trasferring capability and the storing capability are provided.
