Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heat treating furnace in which time and energy consumption required for heat treating a material to be treated can be reduced and quick heating of the material to be treated can be realized.
CONSTITUTION: The heat treating furnace comprises a heat insulating layer 2 for enclosing a heating chamber 1, a large-diameter high temperature side through hole 3 connected to the chamber vertically through the layer, a large- diameter low temperature side through hole 4 disposed in parallel with the hole 3, and moving elements 9 arranged in the holes 3, 4 to vertically move a material S to be treated. Or, a large-diameter high temperature side through hole 3 connected to the chamber 1 vertically through the lower layer part of the layer 2 and partitioned from the chamber 1 through a partition wall 13, and a large-diameter low temperature side through hole 4 disposed in parallel with the hole 3 and connected to the chamber 1 through a small-diameter part 14, are provided, and elements 9 for vertically moving the material S to be treated is arranged in the holes 3, 4.
