Abstract:
To provide a heat treatment facility capable of subjecting the object to be treated to a series of heat treatments where nitriding is performed subsequently to vacuum carburization and also solving the problem of the variation in the control of the nitriding.SOLUTION: A heat treatment facility 1 comprises: batch type carburization chambers 12-1, 12-2 and a nitriding chamber 13 arranged along a rail 10; and a carrier unit 20 independently constituted so as to be separated from the carburization chambers and the nitriding chamber, the object to be treated W is subjected to carburization treatment in the carburization chambers 12-1, 12-2, further, the carrier unit is run, the object to be treated W after the carburization treatment received from the carburization chambers 12-1, 12-2 is carried to the nitriding chamber 13, and nitriding treatment is performed in the nitriding chamber 13. Atmosphere control means in the nitriding chamber 13 comprises: an ammonia sensor 182 detecting an ammonia concentration in an atmosphere gas; and a hydrogen sensor 184 measuring a hydrogen concentration therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
