PURPOSE: To execute heat treatment and surface refining treatment with high efficiency, labor saving and energy saving by arranging the various kinds of heat treatments and surface refining treatments combined furnaces in plural series or on the periphery of circle and connecting a carrying passage for working metallic material and a connecting route to each furnace.
CONSTITUTION: Plural combined furnaces KA, VD, SQ, AD, KU applying at least two or more of the treatments in each heat treatment of quench, temper, anneal, normalizing, solution, marquench, martemper, austemper and subzero and each surface treatment of nitriding, CVD and PVD are arranged in the series or on the periphery of circle. Further, the first routes 25a, 25b of conveyor, etc., are arranged to execute the carrying of the working metallic material incorporated into baskets 28a, 28b. Further, the second route 26 of rail, etc., connected with the first routes is arranged to execute the carrying to each combined furnace of the working metallic material with an automatic carrying machine 27. By this method, the combination of each furnace is improved and this combination of the min. number of the furnaces is made to be efficient and the times of opening/closing operations in the furnace are reduced and the high quality product is obtd.
