To provide a heat treatment furnace which can perform heat treatment of high accuracy under an intended atmosphere even when debinding and burning thereafter are continuously performed, and minimizing generation of cracking and the like on a metallic material constituting a furnace wall.
The heat treatment furnace includes a casing 1 provided with a heat insulating material 2 at its outer side, a heat treatment region 3 disposed inside of the casing, a heating means 4 disposed in the casing and heating the heat treatment region to a prescribed temperature, and a reflector 6 disposed in a state of surrounding the heat treatment region, positioned outside of the heating means in a region where the heating means is disposed between the heat treatment region and the casing, and configured by stacking a plurality of reflection plates 6a reflecting radiation heat toward the casing from the heat treatment region, and/or a honeycomb structure for suppressing heat conduction from the heat treatment region toward the casing. The honeycomb structure is disposed on a region covering a ceiling part of the heat treatment region, and the reflector is disposed on a region covering the heat treatment region excluding the ceiling part.
