To prevent heat contained in exhaust gas from being dispersed to the outside when collecting the heat contained in the exhaust gas generated by combustion by a simple structure and at low cost.
A burner attachment hole (4) is provided near the lower end of a furnace wall (3) surrounding a furnace inner space (2). Combustion gas (16) is injected into the furnace inner space (2) from a tip end of an industrial burner (11) attached in the burner attachment hole (4) to heat a heat treating object (7) stored in the furnace inner space (2). The industrial burner (11) is equipped with an exhaust gas inlet (12) and an exhaust gas passage (13) communicated with the exhaust gas inlet (12). The exhaust gas inlet (12) is opened in the burner attachment hole (4). An exhaust gas lead out port (9) is opened at an upper part of the furnace wall (3). An exhaust gas guide passage (10) communicating the exhaust gas lead out port (9) with the burner attachment hole (4) is formed in the thickness of the furnace wall (3).
