Abstract:
To provide a heat treatment furnace compact as a whole, by preventing driving means for opening and closing a door disposed on the heat treatment furnace from projecting in a height direction of the heat treatment furnace.SOLUTION: A heat treatment furnace 100 includes a treatment chamber having an opening portion 20 for carrying in and out a treated object, on at least one face 21, a door 9 vertically movably disposed to open and close the opening portion 20, driving means 30 generating driving force for opening and closing the door 9 in a horizontal direction, and direction conversion means 40 for converting a direction of the driving force into a vertical direction, and the driving means 30 is disposed within a range of a width of the treatment chamber in a plane view. The driving means 30 is a cylinder 30, and the cylinder 30 includes a piston 31 sliding along a longitudinal direction when the longitudinal direction of the cylinder 30 is a direction of a width, and is disposed in parallel with the face of the treatment chamber having the opening portion 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
