Abstract:
To suppress the generation of tempering upon hardening a workpiece using a laser beam.SOLUTION: A heat treatment method has a process where the hardening object part of a workpiece is hardened, in which the workpiece is made into the component part of an eccentric oscillation type gear device or a deflection mesh type gear device, and has a first heating step where the hardening object part is heated by a heat source; and a second heating step where the hardening object part heated by the heat source is heated to a hardening temperature or more by the irradiation of a laser beam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
