Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain a cycle efficiency approximate to that of a Carnot cycle, by applying to an engine an absorption-type heat transfer system which has been used in an absorption refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:A working fluid having given energy as motive power for a turbine 8 enters into an absorber 1 and is then absorbed by a concentrated solution (a) being cooled by a cooling coil 11. As a result, a diluted solution (b) is produced. After the diluted solution (b) is heated by a heat exchanger 4, the solution is conducted to a generator 2 in which the solution is heated by a heating coil 10 so that the working fluid contained in the solution changes into gas (c) which is conducted to the turbine 8. A concentrated solution (d) is conducted to the absorber 1 through a concentrated solution pipe 6.
