Title:
HEATER CONTROL DEVICE AND ANTIFREEZING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10106720
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a supply water antifreezing device which prevents freezed water by winding a water freeze prevention band around a water pipe, and to provide a heater control device which prevents abnormal heating and which can securely prevent freezing in power saving.

A resistor R1 is placed as an exothermal body 13 about the periphery of a thermostat 3 for sensing the outside air temperature. This resistor R1 is subjected to on-off control in response to a signal from a thermosensitive line 22 of a heater 2. When an pipe temperature, or an ambient temperature of the heater 2, is increased, the thermostat 3 can be turned off because exothermic heat is generated from the resistor R1, thus enabling heater control in proportion to the pipe temperature. In this manner, power consumption is restrained to preclude such trouble as an abnormal low/high temperature of a water pipe. Even when the thermostat 3 and the heater 2 are not fitted to the water pipe, the pipe temperature is sensed to exercise control so that the setting work can be simplified.
