PURPOSE: To enable a wide range of cooking and contrive higher operability in use and suppression of contamination in a cooking chamber, by fitting an inner plate member having a self-cleaning layer in a lining manner in the interior of the cooking chamber and causing an end part of a heater to have a high temperature.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of a toasting functioning, with contact parts 54, 55 closed by a switch, upper and lower heaters 34a, 34b are heated, and due to a self-cleaning function of an inner plate member 41, the heat of the heater 34a may be absorbed in the direction of an inner casing wall part to disturb the thermal balance in a cooking chamber 30. However, since the heater 34a is disposed with a close pitch on the side of the wall part, bread on a grid 39 can be uniformly heated. At the time of a pizza-baking, a cooking tray 40 is placed on the grid 39, and the contact part 55 is closed, while the contact part 54 is opened, whereby power for the heater 34a is subjected to half-wave rectification, and heat is appropriately supplied to a pizza from above and below. At the time of heating a fried food, the tray 40 is placed on the grid 39, and the contact 54 is closed, whereas the contact 55 is opened, the heater 34a and an auxiliary heater 44 are connected in series, power for the heater 34a is lowered, and the food is appropriately heated by the heaters 34a, 34b.
