Title:
HEATER, HEATING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3507254
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict temperature increase of an electric contact part by thinning a width of a conductive part thinner than a width of a heating resistor in a heater comprising the electric contact, the heating resistor, and the conductive part on a substrate.
SOLUTION: A width of a membrane-shaped conductive part 104 electrically connecting a heating resistor 103 and an electric contact 102 of a heater H is thinner than that of a heating resistor 103. Preferably, the conductive part 104 is further longer than the shortest distance between the electric contact 102 and the heating resistor 103, and electric contact 102 and the heating resistor 103 are diagonally connected to each other. It is preferable that a width of a substrate between the electric contact 102 and the heating resistor 103 be thinner than that of the substrate provided with the heating resistor 103, and/or a heat absorption material 106 be provided between the electric contact 102 and the heating resistor part 103. As a result, heat transfer from the heating restore 103 to the electric contact 102 is reduced.
