Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accelerate the warming-up of an internal combustion engine, evaporate and separate impurities such as mixed fuel and moisture and quickly discharge them as blow-by gas, by utilizing the exhaust heat of the engine to quickly heat the lubricating oil containing the mixed fuel. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating oil heater H is provided in a halfway part of an exhaust pipe 17. A lubricating oil inlet port 28, which communicates with a heating chamber 21, is opened in the lower part of the heater H. A lubricating oil outlet port 29 is opened in the middle part of the heater H. A blow-by gas outlet port 30, which communicates with an opening provided at the top of the heating chamber 21, is opened in the upper part of the heater H. The lubricating oil inlet port 28 is connected through a conduit 32 to an auxiliary oil pump Pa provided in a crankcase 4. The lubricating oil outlet port 29 is connected to the interior of the crankcase 4 through a conduit 34. The blow-by gas outlet port 30 is connected to a halfway part of a blow-by gas extraction pipe 37 through a conduit 36.
