PURPOSE: To provide the subject heater capable of preventing cooling of an NG header and an NG in the interior and preventing an NG temperature from dropping to a temperature lower than a standard value, by attaching a drain nozzle of a heating flow channel to an upper stream side of an NG header and arranging drain nozzle holes on troughs.
CONSTITUTION: An LNG supplied from an LNG header 1 is sent to an inner pipe 4 of a double pipe type heat transfer pipe, dropped, inverted at the lower end and is raised in an outer pipe 5. In the process, the LNG is vaporized by heating with sea water sprinkled from troughs 9 and 9a and the vaporized LNG is collected in an NG header 7 and sent to a superheater side. Further, a heating flow channel 10 is formed along the NG header 7 and sea water feed pipes 11 and 11a against the heating flow channel 10 are installed at a downstream side of the NG header 7. Drain nozzles 12 and 12a of the heating flow channel 10 are attached to an upper stream side of the NG header 7 and drain nozzle holes are arranged above the troughs 9 and 9a.
