Abstract:
To provide a heater protection pipe for a molten metal holding furnace, having both of heat radiation property and heat insulation property.SOLUTION: A heater protection pipe 31 has a tip side tapered cylindrical part 35 and a base end side non-tapered cylindrical part 36 corresponding to a furnace inside tapered cylindrical part 21 and a furnace outside non-tapered cylindrical part 22 formed in a penetrated insertion hole 20, respectively. The heater protection pipe 31 is structured to be attachable on a side wall in a state of positioning the tip side tapered cylindrical part 35 and the base end side non-tapered cylindrical part 36 at the furnace inside tapered cylindrical part 21 and the furnace outside non-tapered cylindrical part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
