Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater which prevents elongation of the entire heater body as well as complication of wiring.SOLUTION: A heater 1 has a plurality of arc tubes 10, bases 40, and wiring 50. Each of the plurality of arc tubes 10 internally has a filament 20 and is airtightly sealed by sealing parts 30 provided at both ends. The bases 40 are provided at both ends of each of the plurality of arc tubes 10 and partially house the respective sealing parts 30. The wiring has its one end provided in the inside of the bases 40 so as to be electrically connected to the filament 20. The wiring is provided in a direction perpendicular to an extension direction of the filament 20 in the vicinity of the sealing parts 30 and, at the same time, is perpendicular to an arrangement direction of the plurality of arc tubes 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
