Abstract:
To provide a heater in which peeling of a reflective film and generation of cracks in a sealing portion are suppressed, in view of such a problem that, in a heater including a metal reflective film formed therein to improve extraction efficiency of heat, when a reflective film is directly provided on an arc tube, radiation heat and conduction heat from a heating element are increased to cause peeling of the reflective film and generation of cracks in a sealing portion.SOLUTION: A heater 1 includes an arc tube 10 including a heating element 14 sealed therein, and an outer tube 30 enclosing the arc tube 10 therein. By providing a reflective film 50 on the outside of the outer tube 30, radiation heat and conduction heat are suppressed while infrared rays and heat are efficiently extracted from the heater 1, so that peeling of a film and generation of cracks can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
