Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent oxygen from being separated during combustion and eliminate expansion and occurrence of flame and spark by a method wherein metallic powder of heating member in which metallic powder and metallic oxide powder are compressed and formed are of ferro-silicon, and the metallic oxide is of a mixture of powder of ferric oxide and powder of iron oxide of lower index of the former.

CONSTITUTION: Ferro-silicon to be used is preferably of an included amount of Si or 75% or more and a mean particle diameter of 10μ or lens. An added amount of ferro-silicon is preferably 20 to 35 weight part. Ferric oxide to be used has less amount of impurities to be gasified such as S, Cl and SO3 or the like and its particle diameter is preferably 5μ or less. An adding amount of Fe2O3, is preferably 10 to 50 weight part. Fe2O3-x of iron oxide of low index is magnetite easily available, i.e., iron oxide (Fe3O4) with its with its x-value of Fe2O3-x being about 0.33 is the most preferable substance. A powder particle diameter is preferably 5μ or less and an amount of adding Fe3O4 is preferably 20 to 60 weight part. In the even of compacting formation, each of ferro-silicon, ferro ferro oxide and iron oxide of lower index in powder form is mixed to each other and then they are compressed in a mold as they are at a force of 200 to 500kg/cm2.
