PURPOSE: To eliminate waste of time and expense required for heating cooled water in a bathtub to a proper temperature and to provide an electric bath furnace which is safe to handle and has a high thermal efficiency, by connecting an induction heating means and a control means for controlling the induction heating means via an insulating transformer, and providing the control means and the insulating transformer in addition to a heating section including the induction heating means.
CONSTITUTION: An induction heating means 15 fixed to an outer plate 7 by means of a hinge or the like consists of a bobbin 16 made of an electrically insulating material surrounding a heating pipe 11, a heating coil 17 wound around the bobbin 16, and a plurality of closed magnetic circuit constituting members 18, 18 made of a ferromagnetic material such as ferrite having a high resistivity and fixed to the bobbin 16 near the outer peripheral portion of the heating coil 17. Further, an insulating transformer 26 and a control means 25 for controlling current supply to the heating coil 17 of the induction heating means 15 are fixed to a chassis 24.
