PURPOSE: To prevent malfunctioning of a voice recognizing means in a heating apparatus including a voice composing means and a voice recognizing means, by employing such an arrangement that indication of announcement is given during the while when voices are given for prohibiting operation of the voice recognizing means.

CONSTITUTION: An input signal to an input means 13 is stored in a memory 14 via a controller 12. In starting heating operation, the signal is read again into the controller 12 and displayed at an indication means 15. At the same time, voices are composed and announced from a speaker. On the other hand, when voices from a microphone 9 are given to a voice recognizing means 18, they are applicated to the controller 12 as recognized words. On the basis of the recognized words, the controller 12 controls an output control means 11. Further, since an operation prohibiting instruction is given to a parameter comparing section 21 during while when voices are being given from a voice composing means 16, voice recognizing operation is stopped. Thus, it is enabled to prevent malfunctioning of the voice recognizing means.
