PURPOSE: To heat effectively an automobile particularly at starting by constituting a blow-off grill of a heating apparatus from a heating unit using a ceramic heating element having Curie point and increasing abruptly the resistance value at a positive resistance temperature facter and specific temperature.
CONSTITUTION: When a blow-off grill 5 is arranged in a heating apparatus provided with a hot water system heat exchanger and fan in an automobile, wind direction plates 8 in the grill 5 is constituted from a pair of heating unit electrodes 6a, 6b and a ceramic heating element 7 interposed between these electrodes 6a, 6b, having Curie point of titanic acid barium semiconductor and increasing abruptly the resistance value at positive resistance temperature factor and specific temperature. These wind direction plates 8 are supported on a holding frame 10 with pins 9 respectively to be pivoted by a lever 14. Also, the wind direction plates 8 are connected to a power supply through common heating unit electrodes 12a, 12b to supply electricity for producing hot air until water is warmed at the start of an engine or the like.
