PURPOSE: To improve the handleability of a heating apparatus, by employing an arrangement capable of giving information relating to cooking procedure, alarm for the trouble of a safety means, etc. through a voice on the basis of prestored voice data or inputted voice data.
CONSTITUTION: When a switch for a panel input-output means 18 is closed after placing a substance 3 to be heated on a receptacle 2 and closing a door 4, the content of an instruction is displayed at fluorescent display tubes of the input-output means 18 and at the same time given by voice from a speaker 15 by a control means 17 in responce to the inputs given to switches. The voices are given, for instance, for instructing switch handling procedures and alarming erroneous handling of the switches. When required switches are closed, a high-frequency oscillating tube 5, fan 6, motor 8 and lamp 10 are set into operation by a power source means 16 for starting heating operation. By supervising the progress of the heating operation by means of a temperature sensor 7 disposed at a gas outlet port 12, cooking procedures (required ingredients and condiments, etc.) are instructed by voice from speakder 15 according to a required program.
