To continuously transfer dry distilled material or particularly lumps and to avoid formation of a large lump by disposing many heating tubes spirally extended at least in a partial range in a direction of a lengthwise axis and rotating around the axis in a heating chamber.
Heating tubes 2 are spirally disposed in the direction of the lengthwise axis 18, and hence low temperature dry distilled material or lump raised by the tubes 2 by rotation of a dry distillation drum is received by a motion component of a conveying direction 14 in the case of slidably dropping from the tubes 2. This motion component is generated by an inclination of the tubes 2 to a lengthwise axis 18 of a heating chamber 1, thereby operating a component of force in the conveying direction at the distilled material. The material slides along the tubes 2 or in the direction of an end plate 8 at an outlet side thereon. Accordingly, retention time of the material or lump at a predetermined position in the chamber 1 is short. Thus, the material can be continuously transferred out.
