In designing the operating switches of the heating cooker, four operating switches are disposed corresponding to four heating parts provided to be respectively arranged in the positions relative to the vertexes of the oblong on the top face of the body. The four operating switches are spaced from each other in the lateral direction on the front of the body, and two operating switches arranged on the right of the four operating witches correspond to two heating parts arranged on the right of the four heating parts. The positions of the two operating switches corresponding to two heating parts positioned at the inmost part with respect to the front of the body are shifted upward from the other two operating switches.
