Abstract:
To provide a heating cooker which preliminarily inhibits occurrence of an abnormal condition such as a fire caused by an abnormal temperature of oil in a pan even when the pan is warped.
A heating cooker 1 heats oil in a heating vessel 6 placed on a top plate 3 to fry food by energization of a coil 4 arranged below the top plate 3 comprises a light receiving element 12 provided on an exhaust fan food 11 installed above the heating cooker for detecting infrared rays radiated from the heating vessel 6 and blocks energization of the coil based on detection of an abnormal temperature of the heating vessel detected by the light receiving element.
