Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker that uses steam and can detect whether there is a food in a heating chamber while preventing the steam from leaking.SOLUTION: A heating cooker includes a heating chamber (10) which has a bottom tray (30) fitted to a bottom portion; a light source (40) which is provided on an upper side of the heating chamber (10); light receiving elements (52) which are provided below the bottom tray (30) and receive light, transmitted through the bottom tray (30), of light emitted by the light source (40); and a determination part which determines whether there is a body (161) to be heated which is placed on the bottom tray (30) in the heating chamber (10) or the size of the body to be heated based upon light reception signals detected by the light receiving elements (52).
