PURPOSE: To offer a convenient heating cooker excluding uneven cooking by uniformly heating a cooking container.
CONSTITUTION: A cooking container 3, a part to put on 4, a dielectric heating means 10, a temperature detecting means 6 and a control part 16 are provided. Further, a gap is provided between conductors of a dielectric heating coil, two stripes of spiral dielectric heating coils are arranged in the central part of the part to put on 4 while one stripe thereof is arranged in the peripheral part, a detector 12 for detecting a position of the cooking container 3 provided for being arranged outside of the protruded part 5 provided on the part to put on 4. Stable cooking free from uneven cooking can be performed by uniformly heating the cooking container 3. Further, since one or two stripes of dielectric heating coils are arranged on the part to put on 4 to provide a detector 12 for detecting the position of the cooking container 3 heating can automatically be performed according to the size of the cooking container 3.
