PURPOSE: To provide a heating and cooking device capable of realizing a superior cooking function by a method wherein a circulating is always operated and a combustion fan is controlled while its operating state is changed before a temperature in a heating chamber reaches its predetermined value and after it reaches its predetermined value.
CONSTITUTION: Combustion hot air heated by a burner 22 within a combustion chamber 6 is supplied by a combustion fan 24 through an air passage into a heating chamber 4. Then, hot air within a heating chamber is circulated by a circulating fan 46. At this time, a control device 82 always operates the circulation fan and in turn an operating state of a burner and a combustion fan is varied before a temperature within a heating chamber reaches its predetermined value and after it reaches its predetermined value. With such an arrangement, when a heating with the burner is carried out or when a heating with combustion and a high frequency heating are applied together, a rising of temperature within the heating chamber is superior and a uniform distribution of temperature is attained and at the same time after the temperature reaches its predetermined value, an operation of the combustion fan is changed, a rapid cooling of the heating chamber can be prevented and a temperature within the heating chamber can be kept at a proper value.
