Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the cut powder of a coating cloth when it is cut by a method in which heating part is moved at the same speed as that of the coating cloth in the same direction thereof in heating and a blast barrier is provided on the front surface of the heating part.

CONSTITUTION: With the moving of a coating cloth 1, a hot blast-duct 4 is moved in the same direction and at the same speed thereof by tying belts 13, 13, and the hot blast is injected on one same position of the coating cloth 1. Then the temperature of the hot blast injected from a slitlike nozzle 15 is 120-250°C, and when the same position is heated for 0.5-1 second, the cutting temperature of the coating cloth at which its dust-generating property is very low, is obtained. When the heating by a hot blast duct 4 is finished and the duct returns to an original position, the hot blast duct 4 is rotated by a rotary actuator 9, and the slitlike nozzle 15 is rotated so that the injecting direction of the hot blast is not directed to the coating cloth 1. To reduce the heated part to a minimum, the distance between the coating cloth 1 and the slitlike nozzle 15 is narrowed, but since a blast barrier 7 is provided on the front surface of the hot blast-duct 4, the hot blast is not made turbulent.
