To provide a heating device capable of shortening a time taken for cooling down while preventing the prolonging of the heating time of foods.
This heating device A heats foods stored in a heating chamber 1 by heating the inside of the heating chamber 1 by a heater. A plurality of heaters 2a and 2b, and control means 3 for individually controlling the energization to the respective heaters 2a and 2b are provided. When retaining the inside of the heating chamber 1 to a predetermined temperature, this heating device energizes only a part 2a of the heaters. When lowering the temperature of the heating chamber 1, this heating device energizes none of the heaters 2a and 2b. The control means 3 is configured to control the energization of the respective heaters 2a and 2b. Compared with a case where all the heaters 2a and 2b are heated to retain the inside of the heating chamber 1 to the predetermined temperature, this constitution can greatly lower the heat capacity of the heater 2b which is non-generated, when starting to lower the temperature inside the heating chamber 1.
