PURPOSE: To provide a heating device which is safety and convenient to use by supporting an igniter on the outside portion of a heating chamber in such a manner as to confront with an ignition agent in an opening disposed on a cover portion of the heating chamber.

CONSTITUTION: A heating chamber 1 is constructed so that heat insulating agents 10, 11, 12, a self-burning heating agent 9, and an ignition agent 13 are stored in the interior of the wall portion thereof, normally the heat insulating agents are disposed outside the self-burning heating agent 9, and the ignition agent 13 is exposed to the surface through the heat insulating agents. An igniter is supported on the outside portion of an opening portion of a heating chamber cover portion 2, and installed in such a manner as to confront with the exposed ignition agent 13. The self-burning heating agent 9 is a mixture of an oxygen supply agent and a combustible agent. As an oxygen supply agent, a metallic oxide or the like is used. The ignition agent can be easily ignited by spark of an ignitable stone or the like and the agent used is formed by impregnating fibers with a mixture of metal or metal alloy powder and an oxygen supply agent to adhere thereto. By this arrangement, sake is put in a container having a heating function, comprising an aluminium upper cover 14 and heated to a suitable temperature.
