Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device capable of preventing dust etc., from entering a quartz pipe, and a method of molding a glass using the heating device.SOLUTION: A heating device 10 has a mount part 11 where a glass G is mounted; a quartz cylinder 12 which can accommodate the mount part 11 inside and has its lower end opened; a heating part 13 which is provided at an outer periphery of the quartz cylinder 12; an outer cylinder 14 which is provided to cover the quartz cylinder 12 and heating part 13; and a heat insulation part 15 which is provided between an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 14 and an outer peripheral surface of the quartz cylinder 12. The outer cylinder 14 has a bottom part 16 which is provided at a lower part and has a hole 16a for inserting the mount part 11, a flange part 12b is provided at an outer periphery of the quartz cylinder 12, and a dust collection chamber 17 encircled with a lower surface of the flange part 12b, an upper surface of the bottom part 16 of the outer cylinder 14, an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 14, and the outer peripheral surface of the quartz cylinder 12 is provided below the flange part 12b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
