Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heating furnace of natural convection flow system in which rising characteristics at the time of starting in operation can be improved, a state within a heating chamber can be stabilized at an early stage and kept at a uniform temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A heating furnace of natural convection flow type having a conveyor line 5 for supporting a heated item 6 to be transported within a heating chamber 4 of a furnace body 1 including item inlet and outlet 2 and 3 is constituted such that at least one of a side part of and a top part of the furnace body 1 is provided with a heating source 8 while it is exposed in the heating chamber 4. Then, a discharging port 21 is formed at a position below the heating chamber 4 while being displaced by a specific distance in a longitudinal direction of the furnace from the heating source 8. The discharging port 21 is arranged such that its upper edge is positioned below the lower end of the heated item and further an air flowing-in port 10 corresponding to the heating source 8 is arranged below the discharging port 21.
