PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional heating furnace wherein as the short-circuit failure of projecting heating elements, and the breakage and falling of a strip-shaped heating element often occur because of the change of the shape in association with the expansion and contraction of the strip-shaped heating element when the heating furnace is used for a long time, the stable service life cannot be achieved for a long period.
SOLUTION: This heating furnace is composed of a cylindrical body 1 forming a furnace wall, recessed parts formed on an inner face of the cylindrical body in a state of being laterally extended and longitudinally separated from each other, and the strip-shaped heating element 3 mounted in the recessed parts. Parts laterally separated from each other, of the strip-shaped heating element 3 are supported by the cylindrical body 1 through a supporting means. Further a hook part is fixed to the cylindrical body, and a part of the hook part is faced to a part of a face at a core side, of the heating element mounted in the recessed parts. Whereby the projection and falling of the heating element can be surely prevented, and the stable service life can be achieved for a long period.
